And yet Jesus tells us in the gospel reading do not be anxious, do not worry. And the application here for us today and in these past months is obvious. Our way of life has been interrupted. Our jobs possibly have been interrupted. Our school has been interrupted the way that we live our life freely has been changed by this pandemic. And undoubtedly, undoubtedly, if we look in history, we know that these things have happened before. And I want to say at the outset, I do not in any way, condone reckless behavior, condone unsafe behavior to pretend as though this virus does not exist.
