Beloved, in this place, we do not play to the sensibilities of the immoral, lustful, contemptible, and sinful mind of mankind. We determinedly refuse to placate and cater to the flesh (Rom. 8:4). We proclaim to prophesy right things (Isaiah 30:10), holy things (1 Pet. 1:16) and pure things (Jas. 3:17). When a person does this, it stirs up the wrath and hatred of the masses (Mat. 10:14-42, Luke 6:27, Luke 16:13, John 7:7, John 15:18, 1 John 3:13, Acts 7:52). Rom. 8:36 For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Christ says at Mat. 10:22 Ye shall be hated of all men for my sake; Mat. 10:24 the disciple is not above his master; and, Mat. 10:28, fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul - Fear Him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. We speak things agreeable to the mind, will, and the determinate counsel of God Almighty (Acts 2:23). That is our priority and what we are about.
