This season of isolation that we're in, they stand at opposite ends of the relational spectrum for us. Jesus is a gatherer. He gathers people together and Satan is an isolator. He isolates people. He separates us from one another. Satan hates us being together. Now, why is this well? Because an isolated individual is an easy target for the enemy. We need others in our life to encourage us and to help us and church. Our enemy is real. He's real and he's brutal. And he's merciless and he's prowling around like a lion scripture tells us in first Peter chapter five, verse eight, it says stay alert church.
