However, this time around these new recommendations do go against the biblical mandate to sing to one another. Like it says in Ephesians five 19. And you know, I think it's first Corinthians where it says, anytime you gathered together, everyone should bring a song and, you know, right. All these different things that Jesus led worship through song multiple times in the new Testament. And then also this time around the church is being singled out. So we therefore we'll continue to abide by the CDC guidelines to do everything we can to encourage people to wear masks and socially distance we'll have, you know, less than a hundred people at our gatherings, but this specific new guideline asking churches to consider discontinuing singing.
