Text of excerpt, if available

As the candles are lit in anticipation of day of judgement, a new reality opens for us. According to Chasidic teachings, the world is literally created anew when we sound the shofar on Sunday, the second day of Rosh Hashanah.  The shofar sounding is powerful in awakening us to new strength and depth of purpose. A sound our soul needs to hear this year especially. A sound too special to hear over Zoom; we hope to see you at shul or one of our Shofar blowing's in the park.  We pray that this new world will be overflowing with healing and new opportunities!
