Here is something else that I know. I know this about myself and I know this about you too. We come to these High Holidays already transformed. Simply put, we are no longer the same people who stood at CBI’s sanctuary during last year’s High Holidays services. After more than six months of living under the threat of a global pandemic, after more than six months of sensing the economic fragility of this powerful nation, after more than six months of racial unrest in America’s streets, and, and, and, after the tragic loss of one of our community’s most beloved sons…we are no longer the same. We have already been transformed.
