Christ lives he loves 29:32 us he forgives us he redeems us the 29:36 church exists to witness to this great 29:40 truth of Easter without Easter there is 29:44 no church indeed Easter is the most 29:48 important event in the history of the 29:50 world other events are marked by an 29:54 annual observance like Christmas or the 29:57 fourth of July but Easter is different 30:01 we have a weekly observance we celebrate 30:05 the Lord's resurrection 30:06 Aric every Sunday as a reminder that 30:09 this is the most important event in our 30:13 history and in our lives if the whole 30:16 Bible were lost but the Easter gospel 30:19 were saved we would still have the good 30:22 news we might ask ourselves how to 30:25 twelve uneducated fishermen do this a 30:28 tax collector and peasants from 30:31 backwater villages in a conquered 30:33 country without smartphones they 30:36 established a religion that embraces 30:39 billions of people 30:41 the answer is the resurrection of Jesus 30:45 Christ his resurrection 30:48 changed everything the resurrection has 30:51 divided the history not just our 30:54 calendar into BC and AD today on Easter 30:59 the Lord is inviting us to emerge from 31:02 the tomb to walk in the light to know 31:05 that the world can never be the same 31:07 because he has conquered sin and death 31:10 for all of us in our own lives no matter
