You pick up clues of that throughout the book of Philippians, that they were dealing with suffering with persecution, even some division within their own church. And yet amidst this divert, this adversity. What you see in the book of Philippians is that they truly were a community of joy, solidarity and resilience. They weren't crushed by adversity. They were being strengthened by their adversity. And what if that could be true of us as well? What if, and this adversity that we're experiencing now, this hardship, this uncertainty, what if it actually strengthened us? What if it's strengthened you more as a person? Well, I believe that that's exactly what can happen and what God wants to happen.
