Communion, when COVID-adapted
Text of excerpt, if available
And that's what we're commemorating today. We're going to pray, even though you’re in your rooms right now, you probably have already had a set aside, some bread or some juice. I'm going to ask you to go ahead and collect those things. The Bible says, man, looks on the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. It doesn't matter that you're not, we're not gathered in one place. We're gathered in the spirit and it doesn't matter. You have all the fancy things that we typically use for communion. What God's looking for is your heart. So even if you have a different type of juice or even if it's just a Cracker or wafer, the thing is he wants communion with you. He will meet you right there. So as you gather those things, Mary and I are going to pray together. We've gathered some elements here. We're going to pray over them. And as you and we ask you to gather around your table with your loved one, maybe grab them by the hand, your kids, circle up. And if you're by yourself, just value your head right there. The Lord is with you. He's with you. We're going to pray over these elements.
