There's a virus in the air and it's killing people. It targets black people, but it's not just killing black people. It's killing black people and white people, red, yellow, and brown people is killing old people and young people. It's killing adults and it's killing children. There's a virus in the air and it's killing people. COVID 16, 19. And in this land we've been trying to beat back this virus since 1619, when the record says some 50 odd slaves arrived on the shores of Jamestown, Virginia, we’ve been doing battle against this virus. And some thought the virus had been defeated, that we had cultivated herd immunity in the days after the bloody conflict of the Civil War.
